So now I want to assign a group of operations to the particles that hit the ground. This is simply saying not to activate the parameter or emit particles until the current frame is greater than frame 100. For instance, in the POP Location node’s Constant Activation field I can add something like: The only other thing I would like to do for visualization purposes is to give the particles that have not yet hit the ground one color and the particles that split another color.įirst, we know we can add expressions to parameter fields. What I want to do is split the particles into more particles upon contact with the ground plane. In this example I have a POP Location node that is emitting particles onto a ground plane. I didn’t understand what was going on while I was working with POP Streams. Here is something that I ran into and it was driving me nuts.
